Candle Care 101 - Part III

The quality of the ingredients in your candle factor into how you can burn your candle.  Since Light Your Fire Candle Co. uses high quality waxes and oils, you are able to achieve a rich scent in a short period of time.  A good rule of thumb is to not burn your candle for more than 3 - 4 hours.  This will be plenty of time to fill a room with one of our wonderful fragrances.  You’ll even notice that the scent will linger in the air long after you extinguish the candle.  Keeping your burn within the 3 - 4 hour mark will help extend the life of your candle as well.  To make this easier to accomplish, you might set a timer on your phone so you remember to extinguish the candle.

A few other words of advice - Never leave your candle unattended while burning.  Always monitor the candle when children and pets are present.  Finally, burn your candle on a heat resistant surface.  Placing your candle out of reach of children and pets is always a good idea, however, remember that some of our furry friends (cats) can often find their way to high, out of reach places!
