Candle Care 101 - Part II

So here we are in month two of starting a candle company and I’m enjoying it very much.  Yes, I’ve had a few challenges, but I’m getting better and gaining momentum.  Now onto the learning part.

Light Your Fire candles are made with high quality wax and fragrance oils.  After you’ve completed your first burn where the wax reaches the edge of the jar, you only need to burn your candle for two to three hours.  The candles are rich in scent and will fill the air with a lingering fragrance so there is no need to unnecessarily burn the candles for hours and hours.  Doing this will deliver the fragrance you desire and will make your candles last longer.

Since we have hit the holiday season, I thought I would remind everyone to be safe when burning a candle.  Always keep your wicks trimmed to 1/4 of an inch.  Don’t burn your candles unattended and always keep an eye on children and pets.  It is easy to get distracted during the holidays with family and sips of cheer, so consider setting a timer or reminder so you extinguish your flame properly.
