Why Light Your Fire?

Hello!  I thought I would give a little color behind why I chose the name Light Your Fire Candle Co.  For starters, I am passionate about candles and knew I could do better than several of the candles I had laying around the house.  They just didn’t inspire me the way they used to.  I think a lot of that had to do with the lack of a good quality scent.  Before launching the company I did about six months of testing with different scents, waxes, wicks and jars until I made candles that smelled really good.  I mean, really good!  Something that I would buy and something that I could give to others knowing they would love the smell.

Once I was ready to launch, I had to come up with a name so off my brain ran.  Seven zillion tries later, I decided to focus on a name that shared my passion for candles.  You’ve all heard someone say “they really light my fire” when talking passionately about someone, right?  I certainly have.  Well, I changed the wording a bit and came up with Light Your Fire Candle Co. - A company with candles you can feel passionate about!  Well, I like it and it made me smile.  I hope you enjoy it, and the candles, too.

Along my journey I’ve learned so much about candles and found there is so much to share.  I plan to use this blog to help others learn more about enjoying their candles.  Decorating, safety, gifting and other things.
